THE LAST HOURS

The Last Hours was founded in Västerås, Sweden in 2005 by singer/guitarist Håkan Löfdahl and bassist Jonas Welander. The two-piece got together by coincidence through mutual acquaintances and immediately decided to make music together.
Shortly after their first meeting they began writing and recording the music for the bands debut EP "Alone Together". During the recording process the long time friend and guitarist Thomas Encrantz was recruited to help out on guitars. The EP was self-released in August of 2005 and the first ever gig took place at the Rookie Festival in Hultsfred. During this time the last two members, Thomas Karlsson (drums) and Ida Strömbom (keyboards) joined the band.
Having their roots in both British and American pop they will please fans of Muse, Death cab for cutie, Depeche Mode and Keane as well as the regular poppers.
